Rugby League -The Gilgandra Panthers advance to the grand final after they defeat the Coonamble Bears 40-12 in the major semi final played in Gilgandra.

Pony Club Gymkhana – a number of local riders excel at the Gilgandra Gymkhana. They included Ava Duffy, Jett Chandler, Caitlynn King, Zac Mills, Kiara Chatfield, Elsie Mudford, and Jock Mills.
