Veterans

On Thursday, October 16 we had 11 veterans play a nine-hole Stroke. The winner was Geoff Lummis with a 32 1/2 nett on a countback from Ed Wlodarczyk, who had the same score. Mark Barwick came in third with a 33 nett. Nearest the pin was won by Andy Harris. Bob Dwyer won the average ball. Geoff Lummis also won the least amount of putts with 12 for his round.

Twilight Golf is Back

Last Friday, Twilight Golf resumed for the season. Twilight golf will be played fortnightly on a Friday when the club is open for meals.

Saturday’s Golf

The Monthly Medal Playoff winner was Dylan Wright.

We had 20 golfers on Saturday play an 18-hole Stroke, sponsored by Ian Dent.

First place went to Dylan Wright with 66 nett on a countback from Warwick Cross. Nick Wright came in third with 68 nett. Bill Welsh came fourth with 70 nett.

Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin winners: 2/11 - Dylan Wright; 4/13 - Bill Welsh; and 7/16 - Ken Williams.

Sunday's GLAMS Ambrose

On Sunday, October 18 we played the Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Medical Service (GLAMS) 2025 Three Person Ambrose.

There were nine team that played in fantastic weather. We hope to play the GLAMS Ambrose again next year.

The winning teams were:

Nine-hole winners - Damien Jordan, Ash Hazleton, and Jarryd Eason.

18-hole winners - M Passlow, K Robinson, and J Fernando.

Nearest the pin - 2/11 - Ash Hazleton; 4/13 - Lex Scotti; 7/16 - Alby Ryan.
