On Today - Tunes in Toora
Tooraweenah is hosting free live music event ‘Tunes in Toora’ on the Sunday, September 27 as part of the Goin' to Gil Festival Weekend.
Tunes in Toora have organised a range of exciting activities, with a particular focus on creating an inviting family friendly event.
The day will be filled with live music from local bands, bush dancing, chalk drawing activities, paper plane making station, and much more.
Dubbo band Munda Green will be making an appearance plus local musician Stuart Dougan.
Local community groups, Tooraweenah Golf Club, CWA, and Tooraweenah Public School P&C will be ensuring that all who attend will be well fed.
The golf club will host a barbecue for those craving a juicy steak sandwich or a comforting sausage sizzle, while the CWA will put on an afternoon tea feast.
The school P&C will also be taking care of all your sugar cravings, selling an assortment of lollies for all to enjoy. Kids can also enjoy a jumping castle, as well as the chance to partake in some arts and craft. For those worried about how to get to the event, they need not fret, as the trusty ‘Goin’ to Gil’ bus will be taking patrons to and from Tooraweenah.
