Tunes at Toora
Tooraweenah enjoyed closing the Goin’ to Gil weekend with the Tunes at Toora event, providing kids entertainment, bush dancing, live music, and refreshments from the local pub.
Stalls from the Tooraweenah Public School P&C, the Arthur Butler Aviation Museum, CWA, and Tooraweenah Golf Club all had something to offer.
Kids took part in chalk drawings, filling the Tooraweenah road with colour and fun.
Bush dancing proved to be one of the most popular activities on the day, with many taking to the grass to take turns in learning some fun dances.
The event began at 12:00pm before wrapping up at 6:00pm.
The popular Goin’ to Gil bus helped to transport attendees to and from the village back to Gilgandra.
Tooraweenah will also be busy next weekend, with the village's 110th Annual Show taking place on Saturday, October 3.
