This week's report from Gilgandra Bowling Club

It’s still quiet on the western front with the only bowls news this week being nine bowlers enjoyed a game of social bowls on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

The winners of the afternoon were Lloyd Gwyn and Jayden Doran who defeated Mike Newstead and Norm Lummis.

The match was a 12-all draw but most ends won was the deciding factor which was 10 ends to 6 in favour of Lloyd and Jayden.

The remaining game saw the win go to Mal Altmann, Bruce Parker (swinger) and Bob Rogers who defeated Leroy Gregory and Baden Fisher, 15-10, but only nine ends to seven.

The draw for the 150 Consistency and 21 up has been completed with the draw being on the bowls noticeboard.

Bowlers to please get moving on these games as soon as possible.
