Bowls – Friday night Barefoot Bowls attracted a large number of participants with Ted Harland, Gary Garbutt and Bob Dicks emerging as the winning trio.

Junior Cricket – some of the top scorers in the junior cricket competition were Noah Ryan, Lachlan Nyboer, Kyle Welsh, Chris Holland and Jye Day with the top wicket takers being Bradley Kildey, Thomas Durrant and Ashton McEwen.

Both Bradley and Ashton claimed two wickets with successive balls, but a hat trick eluded both of them.

Senior cricket – the match between the previous season’s grand finalists, Gulargambone and Biddon-Tooraweenah proved to be a thriller with Biddon-Tooraweenah emerging as winners and remaining unbeaten in the 2015-2016 season, just getting past the Gular total of 5/189 with five wickets down.

Sporting Shooters – good weather conditions saw some great competitive shooting with Jim Barling winning the 200-yard Benchrest event.

Some other impressive scores were recorded by John Senior, Grahame Walton, Ally Prout, Rob Purvis, Luke Scales and Chris Scales.

Racing – Wal and Leonie Prout’s four-year-old gelding, a Wild Enemy’s Pick, wins a Maiden event at Dubbo.
