Cricket – with 13 rounds played Gulargambone top the Bendigo Bank ABC Shield competition table with 74 points, followed by Biddon-Tooraweenah on 67, Eumungerie 61, Town-Services 60, Baradine 58, Curban 54, USC Marthaguy 49, Coonabarabran 48, and Mendooran 46.

Rugby League – Jay Towney and Daniel Pracey are selected in the Western Rams Under 21 team that were to play the St George Dragons Under 20 team at Gerringong.

Golf - Gil Riley, Ed Wlodarczyk, and Bill Welsh combine to win the popular 3D’s Butchery three person ambrose.

Rugby League – the Baradine Magpies reform, meaning that the Castlereagh League competition is back to nine clubs, the Magpies had been in recess since 2010 and were a welcome addition to the competition along with the Dunedoo Swans and the Warren Bulldogs who both sat out the 2015 competition.
