Not too sure if he had room in the car to bring all the chooks home again, as he returned with a swag of ribbons and certificates. In total Rambo took eight birds and received eight first places which is a mighty fine result. According to Rambo, many hours goes into preparing the birds for what is like a beauty pageant for chooks it seems. The results of the day with all prizes being first place were brown red female, black red light leg male, ginger female, blue tail wheaton female, AOC female, partridge female, HF breed pair, and AOC female.

Along with these prizes Rambo and his little chickens also received Reserve Champion Hard Feather Bantam, Reserve Champion Bird of Show, Reserve Champion Hard Feather Large, and Champion Hard Feather Bantam. Congratulations Rambo on a very successful show! Rambo’s twin brother Ian ventured to Harden on June 15 to show four of Rambo’s chooks while Rambo stayed in town to show off his ribbons. No results of how Ian went but no doubt Rambo will update us with that information.
