Racing Sedans Australia (RSA) is a national body overseeing sedan-based speedway racing divisions.

RSA secretary Ashley Dawes said RSA operates with the motto ‘Coming Together and Moving Forward’.

“RSA supports and promotes seven divisions under its banner, recognised by Speedway Australia, including: Street Stockers, Four‑Cylinder Sedans, Fender Benders, Super Production Sedans, Outlaw Sedans, and Junior Sedans.

“RSA provides a structured, affordable, and diverse pathway for sedan-based competition, from grassroots junior classes to high-powered Outlaw Sedans. With open affiliations across NSW and Queensland—and plans for national expansion—it fosters both accessibility and community connection in Australian speedway racing,” she said.

Ashley explained that the annual awards night is all about coming together to celebrate and show appreciation for the amazing efforts of our officials, drivers, teams, and committee members.

“Each club gets the chance to nominate people they feel have gone above and beyond, and then the RSA committee goes through the nominations to decide on the final award recipients.

“This year was our third awards night and our biggest yet, with 82 in attendance at Gilgandra. Each affiliated club is given the opportunity to put their hand up and hold the awards night, and next year we are off to Narrabri.”
