NSW Governor visits
Tooraweenah rolled out the welcome mat for Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of NSW, and Mr Dennis Wilson last Saturday, June 21, when they visited the Henley family’s Emu Logic farm near the Warrumbungle National Park.

It was the final stop on the regional tour which also visited Narromine, Trangie, Warren, Coonamble, Warrumbungle, and Coonabarabran between June 18, to June 21.
In the Warrumbungle area, the Governor and Mr Wilson participated in a Tara Caves Cultural Walking Tour and visited the Warrumbungle National Park Environment Education Centre, Australian Premier Genetics, the Castlereagh RFS Control Centre, and Siding Springs Observatory, before stopping at the Emu Logic Emu Farm in Tooraweenah.
Ahead of her visit, the Governor said, “Dennis and I are looking forward to meeting people, support agencies, cultural organisations and primary producers who contribute to this region, known for its strong communities, natural resources, rich history and ambitions for the future.” A small group of locals welcomed the Governor and Mr Wilson to the Tooraweenah district.
The Vice-Regal couple were very impressed with the progressive local business, which was a wonderful way to end their regional tour.
