Mark Barwick wins Matchplay Final at Gilgandra Golf Club

Veterans
On Thursday, September 25, we had nine Veterans who played a nine-hole stroke.
The winner was Rob Hay with 33 1/2 nett. Second place went to John McWhirter with 34 nett. Maree Townsend came in third with 35 nett.
Rob Hay won the nearest the pin. Mark Barwick won the average ball. John McWhirter won the least amount of putts for his round.
Saturday’s Stableford
We played an 18-hole stableford on Saturday, September 27 which was sponsored by JT Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Fifteen golfers played on the day.
Marty Cross won the day with 37 points. Ian Ferguson came in second with 36 points. Coming in third was Geoff Lummis with 35 points. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin went to Marty Cross.
Sunday’s Stableford
On Sunday, September 28, we played an 18-hole stableford which was sponsored by Johnson’s Family Store and Jason Tate Electrical.
We had 15 players on the day. The winner was Marty Cross again, this time with 35 points. John McWhirter came in second with 34 points. Rob Hay came third with 33 points. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin went to Bob Dwyer
