Lyle Horwood wins Hinchcliffe Family Bash
The Hinchliffe Family Big Bash was played over two days at Gilgandra Golf Club
Veterans
On Thursday afternoon (November 20) we had 11 Veterans who played in a nine-hole stroke.
The winner was Lex Scotti with a 32 1/2 nett. Second place went to Andy Harris with a 33 nett. Geoff Lummis came in third with a 33 1/2 nett.
Mark Barwick won the nearest the pin. Maree Townsend won the average ball. Least amount of putts went to Andy Harris with 13 for his round.
Twilight Golf
The twilight golf on Friday was won by Ash Hazleton and Brandon Hammond with a 28 nett. We had 34 players.
Two-day Hinchliffe Family Big Bash
Saturday (November 22) was the day one of the Hinchcliffe Family Big Bash, which was a stableford. We had 18 players on the day.
The winner of the Saturday was Lyle Horwood with 40 points.
Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin winners were: 2/11- Ian Ferguson, 4/13 - Lex Scotti, 7/16 - Nick White.
Sunday was day two of the Hinchliffe Big Bash. We had 20 players who played an 18-hole stableford.
The winner of the day was Tony Wilson with 37 points.
Nearest the pin winners: 2/11 - Geoff Lummis, 4/13 - Mark Barwick, 7/16 - Glen Wade.
The overall winner of the Hinchliffe Family Big Bash was Lyle Horwood with a two-day combined score of 74 points. Runner-up went to Nick White with 69 points.
