Gilgandra’s citizens have been entertained in various ways over many years, and a past member of the Gilgandra Entertainers suggested the group hold a reunion. The venue has been booked, a few ideas are coming together, and a date and time chosen for the October long weekend.

Members of Gilgandra Alive agreed it would be good to celebrate Gilgandra’s rich cultural history spanning many years, including Gilgandra Amateur Dramatic Society (GADS), James Gidden’s Choir, and many individuals and groups who have banded together providing music of all genres. If you have memorabilia you would like to display, a story to tell, were part of an enthusiastic audience years ago, or just want to catch up with old friends, please do come along to the reunion.

There will be a meet and greet from the early afternoon, with a memorabilia display, a compilation of some videos that have been made available for viewing, afternoon tea will be served, and of course, a singalong around the piano.

Everyone is welcome, but please let us know for catering. It should be a lot of fun and a great get-together!
