In preparing to consider the 2025 Neville Toll OAM scholarship, the club members determined to offer one award of $2000 and to promote the scholarship through the Gilgandra branch of the Country Education Foundation (CEF) who will also administer the ongoing process in line with other awards.

Following recent interviews with the CEF panel the 2025 Neville Toll OAM Scholarship was awarded to Sebastian.

Sebastian is hopeful of pursuing studies through Charles Sturt University to qualify as a physiotherapist. He completed years seven to 10 at Gilgandra High School and is completing his Higher School Certificate studies at Dubbo Senior College.

Sebastian attended the December meeting of the Gilgandra Lions Club and outlined his future career options and was presented with a certificate recognising the scholarship. The club took the opportunity to congratulate Sebastian and invite him to attend meetings in the future to update his progress.
