Kath Waller retires after four decades of ‘feeding the Lions’
Kath has been cooking meals for the Gilgandra Lions Club for their monthly meetings since 1985.
Gilgandra Lions Club members said farewell to Kath Waller and thanks for all the great food across four decades at their meeting on Thursday, October 2.
Lions Club meetings were previously held at the Gilgandra Golf Club but have recently moved to the Sporties. Kath has been providing them with beautiful dinners at both venues with help from her husband, Rob. “She has been a great service to the Lions Club as she has also catered for special events over the years providing not only meals but delicious cakes, slices, biscuits and other treats,” the club said.
“All her home cooked meals and desserts have been exceptional.”
“She will be missed by all Lions members past and present as we all have some very happy memories and satisfied stomachs.”
