Under eights rugby league

The under eights put on a show at Dunedoo last week. In their first game of the day, the young Panthers came out strong against Coolah, securing a solid 28-4 win. Their teamwork and energy were on full display, setting the tone early.

But they weren’t done yet. In their second game, the boys really turned up the heat, steamrolling Dunedoo with an impressive 56-0 victory. It was a true team effort with slick passes, strong tackles, and some flashy tries.

A big shoutout goes to Zaiden Pracy, who was named Panther of the Day for his standout performance and all-around effort on the field.

Under 14s rugby league

The Under 14s came out strong and dominated early.

Although Dunedoo chose to forfeit at halftime, both sides agreed to continue, the Panthers finishing the game with plenty of effort from all the players.

Under 16s rugby league

What started off as a miserable day the clouds eventually dispersed and by midday when the under-16s kicked off we were greeted with blue skies and some great football.

Gil started well scoring a couple of quick tries including a great individual effort from Jack Gibson who chased his own kick through regathered and raced 40 metres to score under the posts. At half-time Gil were in front 12-0.

Dunedoo started strong in the second half and scored early to make it 12-6 with 20 minutes to go.

After defending our line for what felt like an eternity we finally had some ball down the swans end where we were able to capitalise and score back to back tries.

A late try sealed the win for the mighty panthers and the final score being 28-6.

It was another great win by the panthers who sit at the top of the table with back-to-back wins to start the season.

Under 12s netball report

Our U12s netball team put in a fantastic effort against top-of-the-table Narromine, going down by just five goals in a hard-fought game, with a final score of 17–12.

The girls played consistently strong throughout the match, showing determination and teamwork right until the final whistle.

A great display of effort and spirit – well done, girls!
