Gurmesh Singh elected Nationals leader in NSW
Gurmesh Singh has been elected as the new leader of The Nationals in NSW, alongside his new deputy leader Kevin Anderson.

Gurmesh was elected unopposed, having been elected in Coffs Harbour in 2019 and also working across portfolios, including shadow minister for emergency services, regional health, and the North Coast.
Federal leader of The Nationals, David Littleproud, has congratulated his state counterpart.
"I know Gurmesh will do a fantastic job taking up the fight to Labor and also fighting for common sense.
"I also acknowledge former Nationals Leader in New South Wales Dugald Saunders.
"I thank Dugald for his hard work and effort over the past two and a half years, in fighting for regional families and businesses across New South Wales.
Dugald will continue as a valued representative for The Nationals’ state team and I wish him all the very best," said Mr Littleproud.
