Nick White was the winner on Thursday afternoon (August 29) with a nett 31.
Maree Townsend came in second with a nett 32.
Coming in third with a nett 32 1/2 was Bill Kirsop.
Bill also won the nearest the pin and the least amount of putts for his round.
Bob Dwyer won the average ball.
Saturday’s 18-hole stableford
On Saturday (August 31) we played an 18-hole stableford, which was the Merv Armstrong Memorial.
We had 20 golfers on the day.
Dylan Wright came in first with 43 points.
Second place went to Mark Barwick with 39 points.
Marty Cross came third on a countback from Nick Wright, both golfers had 38 points.
Gil Toyota nearest the pin went to Nick Wright.
Sunday’s 18-hole stableford
On Sunday (September 1), 10 golfers played an 18-hole stableford.
The winner on the day was club captain Geoff Lummis on a countback from Don Milgate both golfers had 38 points for their rounds.
Gil Toyota nearest the pin was won by Bill Welsh.
