Andy Harris won the veterans golf on Thursday afternoon with a 30½ nett.
Andy Harris won the veterans golf on Thursday afternoon with a 30½ nett. Graeme Holland came in second with a 32 nett. Marty Cross came in third from Rob Hay, both golfers had a 35 nett. Nick White won the nearest the pin. Marty Cross won the average ball. The latest number of putts was won by Mark Barwick with 12 putts for his nine holes.
Saturday’s Stableford had 12 golfers playing an 18-hole stableford event. The winner was John Newman with 35 points. Warwick Lean came in second also with 35 points. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin also went to John Newman. The matchplay result for Saturday saw Warwick Lean one-up defeating Ian Ferguson.
On Sunday, again 12 golfers turned up to play an 18-hole stableford. The winner was Lyle Horwood with 40 points. Second place went to Russell Anderson with 37 points. Ash Hazelton won the Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin.
