At a recent meeting of Gilgandra PROBUS Club, the guest speaker was Nicky Loader.

She spoke of her immigration from England and of the many trips that she and her husband, Tim, have made around Australia on their motorbike, a Honda Goldwing 1800cc. For two years they towed a pod trailer to many, many interesting places on this vast nation until the trailer was “retired” and a motor home was purchased.
This allowed them to keep travelling for a while longer. Many photographs of the wonderful sights they saw were shown along with tales of their adventures. It took three hours to set up their campsite and the same time to dismantle it - often much to the amusement of fellow campers!
This nomadic couple have made their home in Gilgandra since 2018.
