Gilgandra’s rugby league and league tag sides were back in action across the weekend.

The senior men’s Panthers outfit travelled north to Collins Park in Narrabri on Sunday (March 29) to take on Group 4 outfit, the Narrabri Blues.

Narrabri scored a 32-24 win in the trial contest.

Meanwhile, Gilgandra’s Pink Panthers' league tag side went west to Cobar for the Castlereagh Rugby League senior league tag knockout on Saturday, March 28.

Gilgandra lost to Coonamble 6-4 before defeating Warren 10-4 before losing their final match of the day to Cobar 12-nil.

Dunedoo won the league tag knockout, defeating Gulgong 12-nil in the final.
