Football News

The Gilgandra under eights walked away with two solid wins on Saturday (July 26) in Gulgong. The team continues to impress with their teamwork and enthusiasm, showing just how much progress they’ve made this season.

A huge shout out goes to our Panther of the Week, Becky Hutchison. Becky not only stepped up to help out the opposition in the first match, showing great sportsmanship, but still managed to notch up an incredible five tries across both games. What a legend!

After a few weeks off, the U14 Panthers were itching to get back on the field and not even cold, wet weather could dampen their spirits.

If anything, the soggy conditions seemed to fire them up even more.

Despite being short on numbers and running with no bench, the boys dug deep and played a cracker of a game against Gulgong.

Their defence was solid from the first whistle. A dominant 58-6 win for the Panthers.

Our player of the match goes to Ezekiel Williams, who put in a huge effort and led by example on both sides.

Netball News

The U10 girls played a great game, they all tried their hardest, but went down 22-2 to Dubbo’s St Bluebirds.

Our Panther of the Week was Annabelle Foran! The U12s Pink Panthers played St Tiny Dazzlers.

The girls played amazing with well-timed interception of the ball, creating space and awesome shooting accuracy which ultimately secured another win for the girls with 19-8 Panthers’ way!

This weekend, footy heads to Baradine and the netballers continue with their competition in Dubbo! See you all at training.
