In a rare weekend both the 12A and 12B played at home on the same day, and it was ‘Fortress Gilgandra’ with both teams securing a victory. The 12A are now unbeaten through 13 rounds of the season, and the victory on Saturday against Dubbo Rugby secured the top position for the semi-finals with one round to go.

Winning the toss and electing to bat, the 12A team put in their most complete team performance of the year, posting a massive total of 4 for 201 off their 28 overs. Top scorers were Mitch Cosier 37, Oscar Medd 33, and Georgia Allan 32. Yet again with ball the 12A were a force and bowled Dubbo Rugby out for 27. Mitch completed a good game with 3 for 5 and was on a hat trick. Jaggar Hazelton 2 for 2 put in a great performance and Oscar, and Lachie Fisher, took a wicket each.

The final game of the regular season is against South Dubbo in Dubbo. It will be a good opportunity to keep the momentum up ahead of the finals. The 12B team secured their spot in the finals with a 135 to 99 win over Dubbo CYMS. Jackson Towns 17, Oliver Peart 17, and Kurt McBurnie 14 were the top scorers. With the ball, Jackson rounded out a good day with 2 for 7 and Oliver, Braxten, Kurt each took a wicket. The 12B team take on Wellington at Dubbo in the final round.
