Year two students from St Joseph’s School were welcome visitors to Gilgandra Museum on Thursday, June 26.

These students are always a delight to host, showing lots of interest and commenting on the various exhibits.
One of the most voiced comments on the day was ‘my pop has one of those,’ when the old tractors were being inspected.
A lovely card signed by all the students and also a donation from the school were received by president Phil Howard on their departure.
Some of the photographs in the meeting room have been re-arranged, thanks to Jack Green. Included with this was the shire road map received from council recently.
Member Max Zell has been busy placing pins in this new map indicating the location of all the small schools which at one time existed in the shire.
This is displayed in the meeting room so if anyone wishes to view this and, perhaps add a further school, this would be appreciated.
Grey nomads and others are on the move again, so these visitors provide a good boost to our entry fees, which are our main source of income.
