Gilgandra Golf Club Report
Two great days of golf were held on the fairways of Gilgandra Golf Club last week.

Veterans
On Thursday, July 30, we had a great field of 16 veterans who played a nine-hole Stroke.
The winner was Geoff Lummis with a nett 30.
Second place went to John McWhirter with a nett 31 1/2.
Third place was won by Nick White with a nett 32 1/2.
Mark Barwick won the average ball. Nearest the pin went to Geoff Lummis.
Ken Williams won the least amount of putts from Andy Harris and Geoff Lummis, who all had 12 putts for their nine holes.
Weekend Golf
No golf was played on Saturday, August 1 due to the Collie Cup race meeting.
On Sunday we had 23 golfers who played an 18-hole par. The winner was Andy Harris with plus-five (+5).
Maree Townsend came in second on a countback from Gil Riley, both players had plus three.
Rob Wright came in fourth with plus two on a countback from Harry Barnes.
Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin went to Russell Anderson.
