Gilgandra Golf Club Report - last weekend in June
This week's look at all things happening at Gilgandra Golf Club.

Veterans
On Thursday, June 25, we had 12 golfers who played a nine-hole Stroke.
The winner on the day was Lex Scotti with 32 1/2 nett.
Second place went to Maree Townsend with 35 nett on a countback from Ken Williams, who had the same score.
Bill Kirsop won the average ball.
Least amount of putts was won by our winner Lex Scotti.
Weekend Golf
On Saturday, June 27, we played an 18-hole Stroke which was sponsored by Stan Doyle, we had 15 golfers on the day.
The winner was Quentin Karaitiana with a nett 69.
Bill Welsh came in second with a nett 70.
With a score of a nett 72 Nick Wright came in third.
Ian Dent came in last with a score of 92 nett.
Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin went to Ian Ferguson.
Matchplay result: Russell Anderson one-up defeated Warwick Cross.
On Sunday we had a small field of 11 golfers who played an 18-hole Stableford. Peter Barnes won the day with 40 points.
Geoff Lummis came in second on a countback from Rob Hay both players had 35 points. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin went to Gil Riley.
