Gilgandra Golf Club Report - results January 22-24, 2026
Quentin Karaitiana and Adam Hazelton were the weekend winners at Gilgandra Golf Club.

Veterans
On Thursday, January 22, we had 14 veterans who played in a nine-hole stroke. The winner was Ed Wlodarczyk with a 33 nett. Coming in second was Maree Townsend with a 31 1/2 nett. Third place went to Geoff Lummis with 34 nett. John McWhirter won the nearest the pin. John also won the average ball. Least amount of putts went to John on a countback from Mark Barwick.
Weekend Golf
On Saturday, January 24, we played an 18-hole par, with 17 golfers playing on the day.
The winner was Quentin Karaitiana with plus two (+2). Jacob Wilson came in second with plus one (+1). There was a countback for third place between Todd Meyers, Mark Barwick, and Matt Zell who all had an even score. Mark Barwick won the countback. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin went to Jacob Wilson.
On Sunday, January 25, we had a small field that played in an 18-hole stableford. The winner was Adam Hazleton with 38 points. Tony Wilson came in second with 37 points. Rob Hay won the Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin as it came within 51 centimetres of the hole, which also netted him the Super Pin.
