Veterans
The veterans played a nine-hole stroke on Thursday, June 27. We had 13 golfers on the day. The winner was Rob Hay with 30 nett. John Newham came in second with a 32 nett. Mark Barwick came third on a countback from Andy Harris; both golfers had a 32½ nett. Rob also won nearest the pin. Graeme Holland won the average ball. Mark Barwick with 11 putts won the putting comp.
Saturday’s 4BBB
On Saturday, June 29 we had eight teams who played a 4BBB which was sponsored by the family of the late Geoff Mills. Rob Hay and Geoff Lummis won the day with 64 points. Marty Cross and Mark Barwick came in second with 63 points. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin winners: 2/11 - Greg Mills, 4/13 - Garry McKenzie, 7/16 - Marty Cross.
Sunday’s Stableford
Sunday, June 30 we played an 18-hole stableford with only eight golfers participating. The winner was Bill Welsh with 38 points. Russell Anderson came in second with 32 points. Rob Hay won the Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin.
