Gary McKenzie (110) is the winner of the 2026 Gilgandra Golf Club Open.

Veterans
On Thursday, August 20 we had 13 veterans who played a nine-hole stroke. The winner was Rob Hay with nett 32 on a countback from Lyle Horwood who had the same score. Gil Riley came in third from Andy Harris also on a countback. Both players had a nett 33.
Bob Dwyer won the average ball. Rob Hay won the least amount of putts with 10 for his round.
Weekend Action - Men's Open Tournament
On Saturday, August 22, we played the Estate of the Late Spaddy Noonan 4BBB Stableford with 34 golfers.
The winning team was Michael Wilson and Nick Wright with 42 points on a countback from the team of Andy Harris and Peter Corby, who also had 42 points.
Matt Zell and Ayrton Holland came in third on a countback from Bob Dwyer and Mark Barwick - both teams had 41 points.
Russell Anderson won the nearest the pin.
On Sunday, August 23, we played the Estate of the late Spaddy Noonan Men's Open Tournament in beautiful sunny weather, with 42 players taking part on the day.
We had players from Gilgandra, Blaney, Dubbo, Hervey Bay, Binnaway, and Cobar.
