Dylan Wright won day one of the Drumtochty Cup on May 17 on a countback from Jim Zell.

Veterans
On Thursday, May 14, the veterans played a nine-hole stroke, with 12 golfers playing on the day.
The winner on the day was Maree Townsend with 29 1/2 nett.
Rob Hay came in second with a 32 nett.
Coming in third with a score of 33 nett was Don Milgate.
Nick White won the average ball.
Least amount of putts went to Maree as she only had 12 putts for her round.
Weekend Golf
Saturday we had a small field of 10 players who played an 18-hole Stableford which was sponsored by Gilgandra Services Club.
The winner was Rob Hay with 37 points.
Coming in second was Bob Dwyer with 34 points.
Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin was not won.
Drumtochty Cup
Sunday, May 17 was day one of the Drumtochty Cup with 26 golfers playing in the event.
The competition is sponsored by Petrie's Mitre 10 Trade Centre, Dubbo
The winner was Dylan Wright on a countback from Jim Zell. Both players had 67 nett.
Third place went to Russell Anderson he also had 67 nett.
John McWhirter came fourth with 68 nett.
Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin was won by Jarryd Eason.

Dylan and K. Wright 3 and 1 defeated Todd Meyers and Stan Doyle.
Lex Scotti and Mark Barwick 3 and 2 defeated Matt Zell and Ike Morris.
Mark Hinchcliffe 5 and 4 defeated Bill Welsh.
Russell Anderson 5 and 3 defeated Ash Hazleton.
