Gilgandra Golf Club News
On Thursday afternoon (December 4) we had 10 veterans play a nine-hole stroke.
Veterans
The winner was Marty Cross with a 30 1/2 nett. Second place went to Lex Scotti with a 34 1/2 nett. Geoff Lummis came in third on a countback from Bill Kirsop, both players had a 35 nett.
Average ball went to Ed Wlodarczyk. Least amount of putts went to Marty Cross with 11 putts for his round.
Saturday’s Monthly Medal
On Saturday (December 6) we played the Victory Lap Sports Monthly Medal which is a stroke event. This month’s winner is Mick Kaltenbacher with a 66 nett. Russell Anderson came in second with a 68 nett. Geoff Lummis came in third, also with a 68 nett.
Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pins: 2/11 - Lex Scotti; 4/13 - Ken Williams; 7/16 - Geoff Lummis.
Sunday’s Stableford
On Sunday (December 7) we had 16 golfers who played an 18-hole stableford. Nick White won the day with 39 points on a countback from Adam Hazleton. Geoff Lummis came in third with 37 points. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin was won by Lex Scotti.
