Veterans
On Thursday, October 30, we had 11 veterans participate in a nine-hole stroke.
The winner was Bob Dwyer with a 29 nett. Mark Barwick came in second with a 30 nett. Ken Williams came third with a 31 1/2 nett.
Bob Dwyer also won the nearest the pin. Geoff Lummis won the average ball. Least amount of putts went to Mark Barwick.
Friday’s Twilight Golf Welcomes Big Field
On Friday evening (October 31) we played twilight golf, which is a two-person ambrose. There was a fantastic field of 32 golfers.
The winners were Jim Zell and Evan Ryan with 23 nett.
Saturday’s Monthly Medal
On Saturday, November 1, we played the Victory Lap Sports Monthly Medal which was won by Geoff Lummis with a 66 nett.
We had 11 players on the day. Nick White came in second with 68 nett.
Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin winners were: 2/11: Rob Hay, 4/13: John McWhirter, 7/16: Nick White.
Sunday’s Stableford
On Sunday, November 2, we had 11 golfers compete in an 18-hole stableford.
The winner, on a countback, was Russell Anderson with 36 points. Nick White came in second with 36 points also. Gilgandra Toyota NTP went to Geoff Lummis.
