Veterans
On Thursday, October 2 we had 12 veterans play a nine-hole stroke. The winner was John McWhirter with 30 nett. Maree Townsend came in second with 31 nett. Nick White came third with 33 nett. Geoff Lummis won the nearest the pin. Rob Hay won the average ball. Nick White won the least amount of putts.
Victory Lap Sports Monthly Medal
On Saturday, October 4 we played the Victory Lap Sports Monthly medal which is a stroke event. We had 13 players on the day.
Lex Scotti is October’s Monthly medalist, with 63 nett. Aiden Hinchcliffe came in second with 65 nett on a countback from Ian Ferguson.

Sunday’s Ambrose
On Sunday, October 5 we played a two-person Ambrose which was sponsored by Bill Welsh. We had 10 teams play on the day.
The winning team were Jarryd Eason and Liam Zell with a 60 1/4 nett. Second place went to Ash and Adam Hazleton with 61 1/2 nett. Lyle Horwood and Warwick Cross came in third with 62 1/2 nett. Nearest the pin winners: 2/11 - Ash Hazleton; 4/13 - Adam Hazleton; 7/16 - Ash Hazleton.
Monday’s Par Event
Monday, October 6 we played an 18-hole Par with 12 golfers taking part. The winner was Russell Anderson with Plus 2. Second place went to Ash Hazleton on a countback from Rob Hay both players had an even score round. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin went to Rob Hay.
