Veterans, Saturday’s Stableford and Sunday’s Stableford.
Veterans
On Thursday, June 12, we had 11 veterans who played a nine-hole stroke. The winner was Mark Barwick with a 33 nett. Geoff Lummis came in second with a 36 nett.
We had a countback for third place, coming in third was Ken Williams from Bill Kirsop, both players had 37 nett. Bob Dwyer won the average ball.
Least amount of putts went to Bob Dwyer from Geoff Lummis, both players had 14 putts for their round.
Saturday’s Stableford
On Saturday, June 14, we played an 18-hole stableford par three event which was sponsored by Nick Wright.
We had a fantastic field of 21 golfers. The winner was Ian Ferguson with a 52 2/3 nett. Second place went to Nick White with 55 1/3 nett. Bill Welsh came in third with 56 1/3 nett. Lex Scotti came fourth with 56 2/3 nett.
Nearest the pin winners were 2/11 - Rob Hay; 5/14 - Gil Riley; 18 - Ian Ferguson.
Sunday’s Stableford
On Sunday, June 15, we had 18 golfers who played an 18-hole stableford. The winner was Nick Wright with 41 points for his round. Second place went to Marty Cross with 39 points . Ken Williams came in third with 38 points. Rob Hay came fourth with 36 points.
Matchplay results
Mark Barwick two and one, defeated Don Milgate.
Dylan Wright defeated Dean Ferguson on the 19th hole.
