On Thursday, April 4, 13 golfers competed. The winner was Nick White with a 33½ nett. Second place went to Andy Harris with a 34½ nett. John Newham came in third from Mark Barwick, both golfers had a 35 nett. Nick White won the nearest the pin. Average ball went to Peter Holland. Mark Barwick won the least amount of putts with 12 for his round.
Saturday’s Monthly Medal
On Saturday, April 7, we played the Victory Lap Sports Monthly Medal with 23 golfers participating. This was also qualifying for the Albert Milgate Matchplay. Warwick Lean won the day with 65 nett. Ian Ferguson came in second with 67 nett. Mark Barwick came third with 69 nett. Warwick Cross came fourth with 72 nett from Todd Meyers who also had the same score. Nearest the pin winners: 2/11 - Todd Meyers. 4/13 - Nick White. 7/16 - Ian Ferguson. Sunday’s Stableford
On Sunday, April 8, 12 golfers played an 18-hole stableford. Andy Harris won the day with 32 points. John Newham came in second with 31 points. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin was won by Stan Doyle.
