On Thursday, March 7, we had 11 veterans who played a nine-hole stroke. The winner was Jim L'Homme with a 27½ nett. Marty Cross came in second with a 31 nett.
With a score of 31½ was Gil Riley who came third. Maree Townsend won the nearest the pin and the average ball. Rob Hay won the least putts with 13 for his round. Saturday Stableford
On Saturday, March 9, an 18-hole Stableford was contested with 17 golfers taking part.
The winner was Andy Harris with 37 points on a countback from Marty Cross who had the same score. Coming in third was Warwick Lean with 35 points from Mark Barwick. Lyle Horwood won the Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin.
Matchplay results for Saturday, March 9: Ian Dent 4 and 3 defeated Quentin Karaitiana Warwick Cross 2 and 1 defeated Ken Williams Sunday 18-hole par Sunday, March 10, saw 15 golfers play an 18- hole par.
