On Thursday we had 13 veterans play a non-hole stroke event.
On Thursday we had 13 veterans play a non-hole stroke event. The winner was John McWhirter with a 33 nett. John Newham came in second with a 35 nett. Third was Mark Barwick with a 35½ nett. Graeme Holland won the nearest the pin and Bob Dwyer won the average ball. Least number of putts was won by Geoff Lummis with 14 for the nine holes.
On Saturday we played an 18- hole par. The winner was Warwick Cross with an even par round. Marty Cross won the Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin. Sunday’s Stableford On Sunday we had 16 golfers contest an 18-hole stableford. The winner on the day was Bill Welsh with 35 points for his round. Ian Ferguson came second with 34 points. Rob Hay came in third with 33 points. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin was won by Bill Welsh - as he came within four metres of the hole.
