Gilgandra Cars and Coffee Donate to Gilgandra and District Cancer Fundraisers
Car group donates $500 to local cancer charity
Gilgandra Cars and Coffee, and Custom Chrome and Classic Car Club of Gilgandra Inc, congregated in the main street last weekend on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
The car club meet up every third Sunday of the month showing off and sharing their love of vintage cars.
This month, they were able to donate $500 to the Gilgandra and District Cancer Fundraisers, an organisation that works hard to help support families and individuals in Gilgandra who are battling the disease.
President of the Cancer Fundraisers, Wendy Nelson, accepted the money on behalf of the group.
This month the club were joined by 22 vintage and special cars, and roughly 50 people came to attend.
Later in the year, the Gilgandra Cars and Coffee club will be working with churches and the community to also donate hampers to families in need over Christmas.
