On Saturday May 11 the Gilgandra Fire and Rescue unit hosted their annual open day!

On Saturday May 11 the Gilgandra Fire and Rescue unit hosted their annual open day, aimed at connecting with the community and raise awareness of fire dangers around the house. Those who came had the chance to meet with local firefighters and see their specialised equipment. Some of it was even demonstrated! To the delight of the young attendees local fire trucks were on full display, sirens wailing. A sausage sizzle lunch was held around noon.
