Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate the theft of two firearms from a local property north of Gilgandra.

Between 11.30am on Sunday, May 11, 2025 and 11am on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District commenced an investigation, following reports that a .22 long rifle and a .410 shotgun had been stolen from a property on Seven Mile Road, Tounderburine, about 61km north of Gilgandra.

Police were told the two firearms, a quad bike, keys, and tools were stolen from a shed on the property.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Coonamble Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
