Deputy Mayor Cr Ashley Walker officially resigns from Gilgandra Shire Council
Cr Walker has served on council for 12 years.
At this week's October council meeting, Cr Walker's resignation took effect.
It is anticipated that former councillor Gail Babbage will return to council.
