Gilgandra senior citizens learned more about independent living solutions available when DANS In Home Care held an information session at Gilgandra Services Club on Tuesday, March 5. Emma Meyers, a care manager in disability and aged nursing services, said the Gilgandra and district residents who attended found the session informative.

DANS In-Home Care is supported by registered nurses who ensure clients receive consistent, high-quality care. The organization offers a wide range of private, Veterans Affairs, NDIS, and home care package services, including 24-hour care, nursing care, personal care, respite, shopping assistance, domestic assistance, and more. The Gilgandra workshop was one of four across the immediate region. DANS In-Home Care also visited Tooraweenah on Wednesday, 13 March, and have workshops scheduled for Gulargambone (Wednesday, 20 March) and Mendooran (Thursday, 28 March).

Ms. Meyers completed the Gilgandra workshop herself but will be supported by Chief Operations Officer Briette Parish and registered nurse Jane Poole across the month-long visits.

DANS In-Home Care has more than 20 years of experience in providing premium nursing care services, helping 7500 people across the Central West continue to live at home.
