Upbeat Gilgandra CWA back at it for 2026

The Gilgandra Country Women’s Association (Gilgandra CWA Evening Branch) held their first meeting for 2026 on Wednesday, February 18 at the CWA Rooms on Warren Road.

President Jessica Camlin-Reed welcomed members and visitors to the first meeting.

Jessica led us into the National Anthem and the CWA Motto. It was a most enjoyable beginning for 2026.

Our International officer Helen Oates provided the members to a wonderful Fijian dinner, comprising a chicken dish plus fruit salad and ice cream.

Fiji is the country of study for 2026.

Vivienne Gozzard, who paid a visit to Fiji last year, was our guest speaker.

Australia and Fiji have a close association in trade and investment. A fabulous table was on display with Fijian artefacts. What an interesting country to visit.
