Last year’s popular debut of Gilgandra Alive’s Cruisin’ Into Christmas concert is set to return to the Gilgandra Shire Hall this weekend, promising another evening of festive entertainment and community spirit.

The concert will once again feature a vibrant mix of music, dance, and storytelling from Gilgandra’s own performers, with crowd favourites such as Cameron Wendt, Jess Reed, Jess Watson, Stephen Bignall, Janet Cheal, Madeline Foran, Di George, Lyn Edwards, Beth and Dottie Reed, Emily Horan, Dr Julie Nolan, Freyer, Allie Claire and Bianca Williams, Naomi McCutcheon, Maxine and Alana Elsom, Dr Patrick Giltrap.

The audience can also look forward to group performances blending harmonies, dance, and Christmas classics from family ensembles and other community collaborations.

With a strong focus on local participation, the 2025 concert aims to continue the tradition of showcasing the region’s artistic talent in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

Organisers say preparations are already underway, with hopes that this year’s hall will once again fill with Christmas cheer, laughter and a proud display of Gilgandra creativity.
