BEST OF 2024: Cooee Lodge celebrates 39 years

On Saturday September 7, Cooee Lodge Hostel officially turned 39.

Staff and residents at Cooee Lodge celebrated the occasion on the afternoon of Friday September 6 complete with a cake and happy hour.

Lots of laughs and dancing was had throughout the afternoon celebrations.

Director of Aged Care and Disabilities Donna Dobson said “Residents, staff, families, and friends of Cooee Lodge all gathered together last week to celebrate 39 years of Cooee Lodge over an afternoon of laughter, dancing and cake!

“Cooee Lodge across the decades has provided more than just a place to live; it has offered a place of kindness, support, and warmth [for our residents].

“We’re looking forward to the big 4-0 next year!”
