Public donations to the restoration effort of the St Ambrose Memorial Church are tax deductible.

St Ambrose Memorial Church is in desperate need of funding. Works to stabilise the foundations are planned to begin next January but the funding needs to be secured by Christmas.
The National Trust has recently opened an account for the church, meaning public donations to the restoration effort are now tax deductible. Local producers can also consider participating in the Save St Ambrose Harvest Drive by using an NGR number.
Committee member Madeline Foran explained that “we had [enough funds], but costs have been revised up.” “Gilgandra has this magnificent building of international importance, and we need help to keep it standing,” she said.
St Ambrose Memorial Church has suffered a lot of cosmetic damage over the years, but recent lateral structural damage has necessitated the building's closure and undertaking of an extensive restoration.
