The Curban Community Hall Committee is inviting locals to embrace the festive spirit early by joining its upcoming Christmas in July Trivia Night, set to take place later this month.
With a well-earned reputation for hosting enjoyable community events, the committee is anticipating another memorable evening where the emphasis will be on fun, friendship and plenty of laughs rather than testing the brightest brains—although trivia buffs are more than welcome to exercise their knowledge!
Whether you're in it to win it, or simply along for a good night out, everyone is welcome. Christmas attire is encouraged to help create a festive atmosphere, but it's certainly not compulsory.
One thing guests can always count on at Curban Hall is excellent food, and this event will be no exception. The hall's noted cooks will once again be preparing delicious treats for supper, while guests are asked to bring their own drinks. To help kick off the celebrations, everyone will receive a complimentary cocktail or mocktail on arrival, generously provided by The Frothy Filly.
There'll also be raffles and terrific prizes throughout the evening, adding to the pleasure and warm atmosphere that is a hallmark of Curban Hall events.
As well as enjoying a wonderful social evening, those attending will be supporting a worthwhile community project, with proceeds going towards the proposed new deck area for the Curban Community Hall, helping improve the much-loved venue for future community gatherings and celebrations.
The committee is encouraging everyone to bring their Christmas spirit, a sense of humour and a team ready for a little friendly rivalry. Those who aren’t part of a team will be welcomed as well, and added to a table not yet filled.
Whether you know all the answers or none at all, the emphasis is on fun, and you're assured of a great evening in good company while helping support one of the district's valued community facilities. An evening not to be missed.
