Changed traffic conditions on the Newell Highway

Newell Highway Roadworks to start this week between Gilgandra and Dubbo

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions this week on the Newell Highway north of Dubbo near the Marthona Road intersection for maintenance work, including heavy patching.

Work will be carried out from Thursday, October 22 to Friday, November 6 between 7am-to-6pm Monday-to-Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays, weather permitting.

Single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the direction of traffic control and signs, and allow five minutes of additional travel time.
