Busy four days of golf - and an eagle on the third!
A variety of golf was contested at Gilgandra Golf Club, with four events from February 5 to 8, 2026.

There was a huge variety of action on the fairways with four events contested between February 5 to February 8 at Gilgandra Golf Club.
Veterans
On Thursday (February 5), 13 veterans played a nine-hole Stroke.
The winner was Graeme Holland with a 32 nett. Second place was won by Ed Wlodarczyk with a 32 1/2 nett. Coming in third was Ken Williams with a 33 1/2 nett.
Nearest the pin went to Rob Hay. Bill Kirsop won the average ball.
Andy Harris won the least amount of putts from Geoff Lummis and Graeme Holland; all three players had 12 putts for their round.
Twilight Golf
Twilight Golf on Friday evening (February 6) was won by the team of W Smith and A Sutherland.
Weekend Action
On Saturday (February 7), 17 golfers contested an 18-hole Stableford. The winner was Ian Ferguson with 38 points. Second place went to Bill Welsh with 37 points. Tony Wilson came in third with 36 points.
Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin went to Russell Anderson. Bill Welsh had an eagle on the third hole.
Sunday (February 8) only had 10 golfers who played an 18-hole Stableford. The winner was Andy Harris on a countback from Maree Townsend, both players had 36 points.
