Will there be more news from the annual Mountains versus Plains bowls contest? Time will tell.

The bowls news is short and sweet this week due to no social bowls being held last Wednesday June 10 and only six bowlers having a game of social bowls on Sunday June 14. The winners were Jill Hankins, Baden Fisher and Mouse Holland who defeated Mal Altmann, Bob Rogers and Dylan Marchant, 20-12.
The reason for the scarcity of bowlers over the weekend was 25 of our bowlers, along with team manager and minder, Peter Hazelton, travelled to Glenbrook in the Blue Mountains for the annual Mountains vs Plains match along with the John Farragher Memorial Triples Tournament.
I haven’t heard any reports as the bowlers hadn’t returned home at going to print.
No doubt I will have more news to report next week, but then again I might not, as what ‘happens on tour stays on tour’ so they say. Anyway time will tell.
